The very first mosaics were discovered in a temple in Mesopotamia and dates from the second half of the third millennium BC. Ancient Mesopotamians learned then that finding optimal ways of ordering variable forms in a whole is a pleasant occupation, but may be as complicated as a matter of arithmetic. One of the mathematicians who have explored the possibilities of this technique is Sir Roger Penrose, our contemporary.

WORKSHOP DETAILS

To make a decorative paper using the old technique of mosaic is a unique experience and the result will be spectacular! The course teaches the fundamentals of the special technique of making mosaics, where an image is obtained (decorative or spirituality) by assembling small rough parts, colored and fastened together with cement or another type of adhesive.
