Maria Kapari - lector curs Well Being Women

Maria Kapari

Course: WELL BEING WOMEN

My name is Maria Kapari and for the last 5 years I am living in Bucharest with my family.

I am a qualified Esthetician, graduated in 1994 from the Technological University of Athens from the department of Paramedical studies (Esthetics).

Right after I finished my studies, I spent 6 months in Brussels (under the COMMET European scholarship programme) in one of theYves Rocher beauty salons as responsible of the Obesity and Cellulite section of the salon and simultaneously I was learning Lymphatic Drainage in the hospital.

Then coming back to Athens, I worked for 6 years with a Plastic Surgeon and a Dermatologist as the Head Esthetician in their private clinic.

Simultaneously, I was working as a professional make up artist specialized in Weddings make up.

In 2000, I opened my own business and I started to combine classical Esthetics with alternative techniques which recognize the body organism as an holistic system whose inner balance is very important and when it is achieved then it is reflected on the person’s appearance.

I am also qualified for the following alternative techniques:

  • Rejuvance, originally developed by Stanley Rosenberg, is known as natural finger tip face lift because it can produce similar results without traumatic cosmetic surgical work. It releases the tension from the connective and the muscle tissue and it can give a lift up result within 6 hourly sessions with regular hourly “top-ups” every 2-3 months.
    Further benefits:
    - total body relaxation and happiness
    - relief of headache and shoulder stiffness
    - rebalancing of  the nervous system
    - reduces the age process of the face
    - smiling is easier
  • Lymphatic Drainage, developed in France in 1930 by Esterid and Emil Voder.
It’s a mild technique which with the help of pure essential oils detoxifies and reduces cellulite, accelerates the process of losing weight , regulates the intestinal function and it can also give  total body relaxation, a sense of refreshment and a fully oxygenation to the tissues.
  • Reiki, an alternative treatment for the body, mind and spirit of the human being. A very safe, natural technique which uses the transmission of the vital energy (chi) of the Universe through our hands.
I am qualified for the 2nd degree.
  • Craniosacral, a technique developed and completed by Dr John Upledger.
It’s a hands-on method of improving health and function of the body.
It uses very light forces in order to elevate the sensation of the craniosacral rhythm which is important for the practiotioners to understand if the system is working properly.
It’s recommended for digestion issues, headaches, immune disorders, back pains etc.

Join my class and I will be happy to share my knowledge of well being with you!

Friendly yours,
Maria

Course: MAKEUP YOURSELF

I like to think that beauty means being natural. I like to think that being beautiful does not mean the perfect face or the perfect measurements that are displayed all over advertisements and commercials; measurements and “perfection” that we are all tired of hearing about and speaking of, but that in many ways have been integrated into our subconscious and follow us around even if we don’t want them to. We need to learn to love ourselves the way we are, with the good and the bad, because every woman is beautiful in their own way…and yes this is a common phrase often heard, but nevertheless true! There is a certain glow that we lose at times because of every day life and every day stress, and because in general we always seem to run out of time. But this glow is easily regained… with just a couple of strokes of makeup applied correctly, in colors and textures that enhance you and your natural beauty…YOU will feel better, stronger and more confident in yourself.

Questions such as “What colors look good on me?”, “Is my makeup too strong?”, “How do I apply foundation without it looking like a mask?” will all be answered in this tutorial that I invite and welcome you to participate in. There are so many simple techniques that you can easily learn and apply in just minutes which will give you back that glow. And aside from useful information, this course will also be a venue of relaxation and good times, just like a small reunion between happy girlfriends full of life….and we can all benefit from that! So I welcome you to join and enjoy!!

Photography course  or  WHAT’S  THIS  ALL  ABOUT?

2006 was The Year of Kangaroo. At least for me. The kangaroos were not among my favourite subjects but Australia seemed to be the ideal place for me to complete an over 10 years experience as a photographer. So, after graduating The Film University in Bucharest, a BBC Course for Independent Journalism I had the chance to be accepted at International College of Professional Photography in Melbourne. The culture shock caused by emues, koalas, kangaroos and opossums was doubled by an unbelievable world of images and ideas only a country like Australia could offer to those passing by. Out there I found that creativity is a state of mind comming to you in the form of relaxation and wellbeing spread by all the beautiful things surrounding you as well as by people. Since than I have not only been trying to capture pieces of reality in the most appropriate way but also to share this passion for things and people with others.

Course: ABC-ul IN DESIGN GARDEN

My passion for flowers led me to graduate the Faculty of Horticulture in Bucharest and in the early 1990s I had the chance to work in a worldwide recognized team specialized in applied biochemistry and enzymology of plant virology and in vitro fertilization for plants. Later, I embraced the idea of servicing people’s health and for this reason I attended a Master of Science at the University of London Wye College and an intensive specialization at the University of Agricultural Sciences (on the anticancer potential of the broccoli plants).
But at a certain moment of my life I was irrevocably seduced by ornamental horticulture and landscape architecture, whose expertise I followed and to which I have remained loyal over all the years that followed.
I had the privilege of coordinating many teams of professional landscapers’ within highly complex contracts, which ranged from assisted design, planning and operational management of all activities and landscape maintenance to long-term consulting on inner ambient.

The projects I have managed so far refers to outside landscaping and inside design for clients such as: World Trade Center – Sofitel Hotel, Conference Center, Commercial Galleries, Plaza, French Quarter – the approximately 30 houses and adjacent areas, Le Club, Bucharest Financial Plaza interior gardens (as well as the office complex- over 4000 plants), Ghica Palace, BRD – a complex of villas and offices, ABN Amro Bank, Dero Lever, HBO – HQ, Phillip Morris – Administrative Department, Emergency Hospital Bucharest, the Romanian Government Headquarters (maintenance exterior and interior patio of the prime land), Romanian Television (outer space totaling 5ha), seat Citroen Raiffessen Bank – headquartered, Romatsa – based air traffic Romexpo (outdoor green space / over 40 ha) and a long series of private residencies.

Passion and experience led me to the desire of sharing to other people interested in nature an important part of what I have achieved all these years, so I am glad to welcome you to our gardening course!

Course: PAINTING

I love travelling, I like to explore the diversity of spaces, peoples’ features, landscape particularities, cultural uniqueness and the exceptional characteristics of places. I once was hopelessly attracted to art … I especially liked to explore color, how it can transmit moods, feelings, everything. I was fascinated with art because it allows each viewer a personal interpretation. This convinced me, after I graduated from the department of monumental painting at the Fine Arts High School in Galati, to study art history and theory. Until June 2010, for nine and a half years, I worked as a specialist in museum education at the National Museum of Art of Romania, where I organized thematic visits to exhibitions, art workshops, guided tours and presentations for various target groups: families with children aged 4 to 12, school and kindergarten groups, English speaking tourists, university students, specialists in the cultural field and teachers. In my attempt to make art more accessible to the public, I’ve written many articles on modern and contemporary Romanian art. I like to maintain a close connection with contemporary creation, so I got involved in national or international art projects, among which “The Golden Age for Children, Sweden (artist Stefan Constantinescu),” The Knot” – public art project in Berlin, Warsaw and Bucharest or “Matter & History” (artist Anca Benera). The central aim of my life is to stimulate others’ creativity. I am waiting to explore the secrets of painting with you.

Dana Lupu - lector curs Raw Cooking

Dana Lupu

Course: RAW COOKING

I came into this world with an unlimited curiosity, a desire to understand the world in general and especially in its details, to travel mentally and physically and to integrate different experiences into my life. So I found the solution to do something with enough passion is to be curious and willing to devote my energy to the object of my passion. Thus, applying that formula, I used to forget about the time, effort, space, and the results arrived than as expected. Einstein used to say: “Energy follows attention”. This feature of my personality (curiosity) combined with the belief that we can anytime change what we do, that we can always create or change the path, took me to the decision to get involved in many things, in various fields.

My formal preparation is that of an economist. I graduated International Economic Relations at the Academy, but in the last 14 years I have worked in government consulting, real estate, several start ups projects, personal financial investment, finance and banking. In addition to my professional path, I dedicated time to my long life passion for self-awareness, discovering our own potential and understanding the laws of the universe. A remarkable experience in this respect was the journey I made in Peru in 2010.
In 2009, I had my chance to face a new challenge: a major health problem, from which I learnt the language that the disease send it to us and also the lesson of getting close and knowing your own body. Thus, I have studied, researched, experimented and finally embraced attitudes and beliefs, which subsequently reflected in the choices and new habits of life. Through this personal experience and passion Nutrition Awareness Course was born.
